Remember that there are two kinds of coin problems:
Where they show  you a relationship between the number of
coins, eg. twice as many quarters  as dimes, and where you
have to create a relationship.  eg 10 coins in total.

For both of them create a chart.

Math Review (One and Two Step Equations)

Here is the Answer Key for the Review assigned in class.

Solving One and Two step equations sometimes requires that you follow the distributive properties of multiplication. For example:
4(x-2)=16
distribute 4 through the brackets
4x-8=16  now add +8 to both sides to begin isolating x.
4x=24  divide both side by 4 to isolate x.
x = 6
